OverView

Hazardous waste and non-hazardous waste from the land resources end up in the ocean causes marine pollution. Among which pollution from ships is common. In order to prevent marine pollution caused by operational & accidental causes by the ships. IMO introduced MARPOL which is the main international convention that came in 1973.

Dulsco, Qatar has clearly demonstrated a high standard in house recourse experience and capabilities to operate in accordance with requirements of MARPOL 73/78 Convention under its Annexes I, II, III, IV & V  

In terms of Collection, transportation, and disposal of Solid and liquid Hazardous, Non- hazardous waste, and tank cleaning by means of zero impact to the environment, as required by ROPME Sea Area the member States. 

 

 The technical requirements of MARPOL are included in five separate Annexes:

  • Annex I—Regulations for the Prevention of Pollution by Oil
  • Annex II—Regulations for the Control of Pollution by Noxious Liquid Substances in Bulk
  • Annex III—Prevention of Pollution by Harmful Substances Carried in Sea in Packaged Form
  • Annex IV—Prevention of Pollution by Sewage from Ships
  • Annex V—Prevention of Pollution by Garbage from Ships

We are the only Qatar-approved MARPOL (MEMAC) supplier for specialist marine waste services.
